6. Carefully Selected Homestays
There is not better way for international students to learn about the ways and lifestyles of Canadians, to learn and use English speaking skills, and to form close and valued friendships than in a homestay. Therefore, unless living with their parents, all international students are required to stay with school approved homestay families. Homestay families and their homes are carefully screened, chosen, and supervised to ensure the comfort and well-being of our international students. Every effort is made to match the individual needs of each student with the homestay family that can best meet those needs.
7. A Personalized Approach
Enrollment is limited to ensure that each student receives the individual attention needed to adjust to a new school system, culture, and language. An International Student Advisor will be available at all times to assist and counsel our students. It should be noted that students normally start school in September, but we will accept students at other times of the year, such as January.
