Since 1993, School District 42 Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, has educated students of all ages from all over the world.

Regulated by the provincial government, School District 42 is located in southern British Columbia, 44 kilometres east of the city of Vancouver. The area is known as Ridge Meadows to reflect the neighbouring communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

Our District prides itself in providing the highest standards in education, public safety and health. We are known for excellence in education – high-tech, accredited schooling, qualified teachers and motivated students.

Our students excel in University and College entrance
programs, fine arts, and career education. We provide excellent opportunities for international students to study in a Canadian High School and to prepare for their future University life.

School District 42 also has a strong Canadian university
preparation program for students who have completed secondary school in their home country. We have accredited partnerships with respected regional universities, and we consistently produce championship-level sports teams and University and College scholarship recipients.

We pride ourselves in offering excellence in education...we invite you to Experience Canada and Learn in School District 42.

High School in Canada

This program is directed to high school students between 13 and 19 years of age. It has been designed for international students who wish to study for one or more school terms in Canada, while living with a Canadian homestay family.

The high school year from September to June has a Semester program (September to February; February to June) and a Year program (September to June).
